GUAVA's take on the Pastels Trend for SS18
So, the sun is finally out and Summer is sincerely apologizing for being (not) fashionably late. It's Friday, June 15th and we are craving for a pop of colour, from head to toe, let me just tell you that.

GUAVA is obsessed with colour, so we decided to - in a way - bring expose our trend forecast studies and just show you the base of our SS18.
Along the SS18 road, you can be sure to spot tones of pastels shades, mismatches, combos and colour palettes that will, ultimately, show your true colours – or should I say, your dream true colours? The point is: this Summer is all about light, sweet and fairy-tale inspired hues.
Pantone was one of our first ever hints, since it immediately let us know that, accordingly to it’s studies and trend reports, Ultra Violet was, definitely, the colour of the year.
We are still  very much in love with the forever famous Millennial Pink - the colour that left everyone craving for a cotton-candy deet and Gen-Z Mustard Yellow - unmistakably, one of the most beautiful colours we were “authorized” to war since the major Red Alert last year. Of course, and because Fashion has it’s own personality, Ultra Violet became Lavender and of all of sudden, the street-style game was filled with pastels marching down the streets.
It was marvelous to spot those shades on the catwalk and even on the streets, thanks to the likes of Tyler Joe, Adam Katz and even Julien Boudet. From the Seafom Green to Lime, from Ballet Slipper Pink to Peach and from Sky Blue to Teal, it is undoubting to find a Carrot Orange and Pineapple Yellow.

But the true magic lies in the playful styling options you are given when dealing with such an adorable and cheerful palette. You can go, obviously, with a head-to-toe strategy (power suit alert) or you can mix and match different hues with different fits and (please, be my guest), different fabrics.

Currently, Susie Bubble is not the only person that has giant crush on a good and wide colour scheme. From Leandra Cohen from Man Repeller to Emilli Sindlev, the winner of The Style Icon award from Elle Denmark, fashion colour palettes that were once not allowed are now desired and considered a must-have, so things are sifting.

These tips can be taking to another level by adding the right shoes to your vision and this is exactly where GUAVA finds its very own cue to stand out. For this SS18 GUAVA brought eight colours and two styles that are here to help you worship a happy lewk. From Lemonade Pink, Mustard Yellow, Violet and Egyptian Blue to Lemon Yellow, Coral Mint, Jungle Green and Pink Panther, GUAVA has the go-to mules and sandals for this Summer.
